For our client, a company based in Geneva, we are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for a permanent full-time position (100%).

Your responsibilities with your future employer

  • Manage the full payroll cycle for a population of more than 1,000 employees

  • Ensure compliance with Swiss legal and regulatory requirements (AVS, withholding tax, LPP, etc.)

  • Prepare social security and tax declarations, and liaise with external institutions

  • Perform monthly reconciliations between payroll, HR and accounting

  • Oversee expense reports and administer the collective health insurance scheme

  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance and IT teams

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and tools

  • Provide support during internal and external audits

What you bring to your future employer

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in Switzerland

  • Strong knowledge of Swiss social insurances

  • Solid skills in payroll–HR–accounting reconciliations, expense and insurance management

  • Knowledge of Abacus is a plus

  • Fluent in French and English

  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, reliable and service-minded

  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with professionalism and empathy

  • Comfortable with digital tools and evolving systems
