Financial Accountant

Our partner is a Swiss company specialising in the development and distribution of high-end products for private customers. The company is currently looking for a Financial Accountant 80–100% to manage the accounting activities of a European subsidiary and contribute to group financial closings. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to participate in financial transformation projects.

Vos tâches chez votre nouvel employeur

• You take full responsibility for the accounting activities of a German subsidiary, from recording financial transactions to preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• You prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate with external advisors to ensure compliance with tax obligations, particularly VAT reporting
• You support the accounting activities of the Swiss entity and contribute to group financial closings, including account reconciliations, intercompany transactions and cash reporting
• You manage payroll-related accounting entries, perform monthly reconciliations and ensure compliance with specific regulatory requirements applicable to the German subsidiary
• You work closely with European finance teams and external auditors, contribute to internal controls and support the documentation and optimisation of accounting processes
• You actively participate in finance digitalisation projects, including the implementation of a new system and the automation of accounting processes

Vous offrez à votre nouvel employeur

• You hold a higher education qualification in Finance or Accounting, providing you with the knowledge to independently manage a wide range of accounting responsibilities
• You have at least five years of experience in accounting, ideally within an international, multi-entity environment, and possess a good understanding of Swiss and German accounting practices
• You are fluent in German, French and English, allowing you to communicate effectively with the group's various European entities
• You are comfortable working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP, have strong Excel skills and are interested in automation tools such as Power Automate and emerging technologies
• You are organised, detail-oriented and independent, enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders and take a proactive approach to improving processes
